Below are a list of the services that I offer and the fees that I request. I do not offer reduced rates, because I offer all of my services for free to vulnerable women through a grassroots organisation called Doulas Without Borders.
I do offer payment plans though and also, on occasion, an exchange of services. I am always happy to discuss these in more depth.
Birth package £950
This typically includes:
Antenatal visits x 2 (approximately 2 hours duration)
On-call for attendance at birth from 38 weeks until baby arrives
Postnatal visit x 1 (approximately 2 hours duration)
I request 50% of the fee as a non-refundable deposit upon booking, with full payment made prior to starting the on-call period.
Birth planning session £75
A one off visit to discuss birthing options, discuss anything that you are particularly worried about and look at different options for how to ensure your wishes are heard and interpreted well by your birth team
Mother-blessing ceremony £350
These are an amazing way to gather your friends and family around you in support of you and your baby for your journey ahead. It can be as ritualistic as you wish. Typically I would work with a fellow doula to plan with you what you would like from this day. This fee includes a pre-meeting, our work to plan the day, and attendance at the ceremony to perform any duties required.
Postnatal £20 per hr
Typically I am booked for a series of regular 2 hour sessions (minimum 2 hr slot). During my visit I can offer a listening ear to discuss your birth experience. I can offer support for breastfeeding, do light cleaning or cooking, or watch your baby or siblings while you have a shower or a rest.
If you book a block of 5 or more sessions (minimum 10hrs), I can offer a 10% discount.
